Karuah Active Magnesium™ addresses the chronic deficiency most of us endure of this important mineral. Magnesium absorption is poor from those large tablets on which we can waste our money since only 20 to 25% of the useful element can be taken up by our cells. High (unhealthy) levels of calcium (which we get in bucket-loads from processed and manufactured foods, dairy and supplements) reduce the absorption of magnesium and our consumption of alcohol, caffeine plus our low intake of magnesium-rich sources all lead to chronic Mg deficiency.

Karuah ChancaPlus™ is next in line. This works in conjunction with the others. But let me give you an example of the Holy Grail at work.

A while back, I was at a Sunday lunch with some friends. The phone rang as we all sat down for the meal and the host, (I’ll call him Simon for privacy reasons) got up, answered it and walked away from the group at the table. It was his doctor calling – on a Sunday! From Simon’s expression and demeanour, it could only have been bad news.

Simon was being told that his recent medical tests had come in and that the doctor was so concerned that he wanted them to meet the very next day. It did put a pall on that lunch.

The upshot for Simon after the Monday appointment with his concerned doctor, was that he needed a stent in his coronary artery to open up a blockage and he needed it quickly as he was at a high risk of a heart attack.

The challenge was that Simon was only in the public health system and so he had to wait 6 weeks before he could get the procedure done. So I asked Simon if he would try my suggestion of support

and embrace the Holy Grail to Health:

Step 1 was to start on LIFE, twice a day for the 6 weeks. This was to help improve blood flow and blood vessel elasticity and to promote new blood vessel growth and development. LIFE also delivers a massive array of benefits to our cells, tissues, processes and biochemical systems.

The more I research I do, the more convinced I am that LIFE is the antidote to modern foods in a multitude of ways.

Step 2: Adequate magnesium every day was critical for Simon (as it is for all of us) and my Karuah Active Magnesium™ (KAM) came into the picture. The whole food sources of magnesium (naked pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds) also supply selenium, zinc, copper, iron and a raft of other minerals, proteins and healthy fats (all at food-safe levels and biologically activated – unlike supplement sources). Added to this, are the wild food components in KAM which provide components often absent from or in trace amounts in foods today. Vitamin K2 is one particular component which helps put dietary calcium that magnesium moves into bones and away from our soft tissues, into the right matrix.

Let me put this another way.

Magnesium activates vitamin D which gets calcium into bones instead of deposited in soft tissues where it can often cause problems. Vitamin K2 then moves the calcium into the proper structural matrix for ideal bone strength.

It is not as simple as take a supplement with inorganic calcium salts and add synthetic vitamin D3 just because Big Pharma can make and market it.

Step 3 The odds were high that Simon’s arterial blockage was from calcium-cholesterol so Karuah ChancaPlus™ was key and I had him on 2 capsules daily for a few days then boosted this to the Cleanup Protocol (see below) for 2 days each week of the 6 weeks. The blend of wild foods in ChancaPlus works synergistically with the principle herb known as ‘Stone Breaker’ to help gelatinize the calcium-cholesterol. What Simon heard during the procedure was mind-blowing for him. His surgeon had poked a camera up through to the spot where the stent was meant to be placed (from Simon’s scans all those weeks earlier) and to his surprise and in his own words the surgeon said; “This is amazing. I am seeing a section of clean, pink, very flexible arterial wall. This is more like a young person’s artery, not someone of your years.” Simon was in his late 60s. The next words from the surgeon were; “There’s no need for any stent today. I’ll take this (camera) out and you can go home.”

Now I need to declare here that my products are whole foods, not drugs of any kind and so I can’t make claims apart from saying that there is a food – health relationship from combinations of wild foods. Recommended servings for the month:

LIFE – 1 medium-heaped teaspoonful daily is my recommended maintenance serve. If you have had or expect to have a tough day, have a 2nd serve mid-afternoon to early evening. If you are starting out on a weight loss program, take the serve size above about 30 minutes before all meals and drop to 1 or 2 meals a day as your satiety increases and eating 3 or more times a day stops being a habit.

KAM – 1 scoopful added to water or mixed into a non-dairy smoothie, every day. Try it with avocado and egg wraps, omelettes, in pancakes, nut butters – the choices and ideas are almost unlimited.

KCP – start with 2 capsules daily for a week and then introduce a Ca-Cleanup protocol. This is 6 capsules every 8 – 12 hours for 2 days and be sure to drink lots of water.
